The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
