The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
