Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
