The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
