The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif Lam Mim 1 This is the Book of Allah: there is no doubt about it. It is guidance to Godfearing people, 2 Those who believe without seeing (the hidden), and keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and spend in Our cause from what We have bestowed upon them. 3 those who believe in the revelation sent down to you and in what was sent before you, and firmly believe in the life to come -- 4 It is they who are on guidance from their Lord; and they are the successful. 5 Surely those who disbelieve, it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them, will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes there is a covering. They will have a terrible punishment. 7
