Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 And ease my task for me; 26 and my tongue fluent 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Increase through him my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
