And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
