And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the apostles of the Lord of the worlds: 16 (Saying): Let the Children of Israel go with us. 17 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty." 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
