We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
