HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
