The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
