11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
