Al-Isra 8 of 12

(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 If We had not made you stand firm, you would almost have inclined towards them a little. 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And verily they had well-nigh unsettled thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence. And in that case they would not have tarried after thee but a little while. 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
