The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and the drivers driving, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
