My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- 68 [O you] who have attained to faith in Our messages and have surrendered your own selves unto Us! 69 Enter the garden, you and your wives; you shall be made happy. 70 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). 71 this is the Garden which you will inherit by virtue of your past deeds, 72 Herein you will have abundant fruits of which you will eat.” 73 [But,] behold, they who are lost in sin shall abide in the suffering of hell: 74 from which there is no relief: they will remain there in utter despair. 75 We have not wronged them; it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!" 77 We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse. 78 Or have they contrived some matter? We too are contriving. 79 Do they fancy that We do not listen to their whispers and their counselling? Why not, We surely do! And Our angels are with them, writing down. 80 Say: "If Ar-Rahman had a son I would have been the first of worshippers." 81 Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, above that they describe.' 82 So leave them plunging into false discourses and sporting until they meet their day which they are threatened with. 83 And it is He who in heaven is God and in earth is God; He is the All-wise, the All-knowing. 84 And blessed be He to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, and with Whom is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Whom you (all) will be returned. 85 And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly. 86 If you were to ask them: “Who created them?” they will surely say: “Allah.” Whence are they, then, being led astray? 87 And We hear his saying: my Lord! verily these are a people who believe not. 88 So turn away from them (O Muhammad SAW), and say: Salam (peace)! But they will come to know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
