The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
