▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
