Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52

True are the words of God the Almighty.
