۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
