And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (We said): 'Stamp your foot on the ground, here is cool water with which to wash and a drink' 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
