The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- 2 when the earth is stretched out 3 And shall cast forth that which is therein, and shall become empty. 4 and obeys its Lord as it must, 5 O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. 6 Then he who is given his Record in his right hand, 7 He will be judged with an easy account 8 and he will return to his family joyfully. 9 And whoever is given his record of deeds behind his back 10 they will say, "Woe to us!" 11 But will be roasted in the fire. 12 He used to live joyfully among his people, 13 Never thinking he will return. 14 Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him! 15 So by oath of the late evening’s light. 16 or by the night in which things all come together to rest, 17 And the moon when at the full, 18 That ye shall journey on from plane to plane. 19 So, what is the matter with them that they do not believe, 20 And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate, ۩ 21 But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). 22 But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) 23 So give them news of painful punishment, 24 Except those who believe and do the right: For them there is reward unending. 25
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
