T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 What is that, Moses, thou hast in thy right hand?' 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. 24
