And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82
