Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble scribes 11 who know all that you do: 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
