۞ Allah has said: "Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One Allah: then fear Me (and Me alone)." 51 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and His the judgement for ever. So will you fear any other than God? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 (As if) to show their ingratitude for the favours we have bestowed on them! then enjoy (your brief day): but soon will ye know (your folly)! 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 They assign daughters to God, glory be to Him!, but for themselves [sons] that they desire to have. 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 Skulking from the people because of the evil of that which hath been announced unto him: shall he keep it with ignominy or bury it in the dust? Lo! vile is that which they judge! 59 Those who do not believe in the life to come are evil examples. To God belongs all the exalted attributes; He is the Majestic and the All-wise. 60
