The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers, 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 who observe Zakah; 4 those who safeguard their chastity 5 Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 and who are steadfast in their prayer. 10 Who will inherit Paradise, and live in it for ever. 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have indeed fashioned above you seven paths. Never were We unaware of the task of creation. 17 And We send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely We are able to carry it away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters. 20 And indeed in the cattle is a lesson for you; We give you to drink what is in their bellies, and there are many benefits for you in them, and in them is your food. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
