Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by all that you can see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
