Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
