Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 who used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in his Sustainer's sight. 55 And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet; 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are (some of) those who were favoured by God among the prophets of the progeny of Adam, and of those We bore in the ark with Noah, and the offspring of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and We chose, for they bowed weeping in adoration when the revelations of Ar-Rahman were recited to them. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 We come not down, save at the commandment of thy Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us, and all that is behind us, and all between that. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him? 65
