We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
