Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
