Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a straight path, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
