Hizb 46
< random >
And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 [and they cast him into the sea,] whereupon the great fish swallowed him, for he had been blameworthy. 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 and we glorify God". 166 And surely they used to say: 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
