Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct." 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 But [I have for you] only notification from Allah, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 so that He may know that they have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge their surroundings and keeps a count of all things.” 28
