Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 gardens and vineyards, 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 And an overflowing cup. 34 They will not hear therein any unnecessary words or lies. 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatsoever is in between them, the Compassionate with Whom they can demand not audience. 37 On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right. 38 That is the Day, the truth, so whosoever wills takes a way to his Lord. 39 Lo! We warn you of a chastisement near at hand; the Day when a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust.” 40
