Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them? 98

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
