The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 The piercing star! 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
