Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Certainly the news of the calamity that will overwhelm has come to you! 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 Labouring (hard in the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allah), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace). 3 they shall burn in a Scorching Fire; 4 their drink shall be from a boiling spring. 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 and pleased with the result of their deeds in the past. 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 They shall hear therein no vain discourse; 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 In which are high thrones. 13 and goblets set forth 14 and arranged cushions 15 and carpets outspread. 16 Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?- 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 As for those who turn their back and disbelieve, 23 Allah will punish him with direst punishment. 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
