And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
