Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 (Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. He reveals this to none, 26 He causes angelic guards to march before and after him. 27 That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number. 28
