The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
