O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Surely those who live in awe of their Lord, 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 In fact, the hearts of the unbelievers are in the dark because of their ignorance of real virtue; they act against it. 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or did you not recognize your Messenger and, thus, denied him (Muhammad) 69 Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
