The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 And our fathers too?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
