a multitude of the ancients, 39 and a multitude of the later people. 40 As for the people on the left hand, how miserable they will be! 41 Will be in the scorching wind and boiling water, 42 And a shade of black smoke, 43 neither cool nor refreshing. 44 Lo! heretofore they were effete with luxury 45 and persisted in heinous sins. 46 They used to say: “What! Once we are dead and are reduced to dust and bones, shall we still be raised to a new life from the dead? 47 Will our ancient forefathers be resurrected too? 48 Say: "Indeed, the earlier and the later generations 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 "Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- 51 Ye verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 52 and fill your bellies with it, 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 drinking it as thirsty camels do.” 55 Such will be their welcome on Judgment Day! 56 We created you, why will you not believe! 57 Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. 58 Did you create it or was it We who created it? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 From replacing you with others or raising you in a way you do not know. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 Behold! that which ye sow. 63 Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth? 64 Did We will, We would make it broken orts, and you would remain bitterly jesting -- 65 Lo! we are laden with debt! 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Behold! the water which ye drink: 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 If We will We can make it bitter, so why do you not give thanks? 70 Have you seen the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer? 72 We have made it a Reminder (for the Hell-fire, in the Hereafter); and an article of use for the travellers (and all the others, in this world). 73 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
