Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Await, then, in all patience thy Sustainer's judgment, and pay no heed to any of them, who is a wilful sinner or an ingrate; 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 and part of the night; bow down before Him and magnify Him through the long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 We, even We, created them, and strengthened their frame. And when We will, We can replace them, bringing others like them in their stead. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. 30 For He admits into His mercy whomsoever He will; as for the evildoers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
