The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 by a burning fire 5 when they were seated around it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
