Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
