Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And those that lift and bear away heavy weights; 2 which then smoothly speed along, 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope]. 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised; 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
