(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 and glorify your Lord morning and evening; 25 And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. 26 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day. 27 We, even We, created them, and strengthened their frame. And when We will, We can replace them, bringing others like them in their stead. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He makes whom He pleases to enter into His mercy; and (as for) the unjust, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
