The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
